Film Cliche - Horror
Horror films have an older target audience but tend to appeal to both men and women. The higher the age range the more interested people are in going to see the film as this means they are more likely to jump out their seat and be frightened by the film. Although there are predictable moments in horror films and this may make it predictable, this out the audience on the edge of their seats as they know something bad is going to happen and this builds suspense.
A cheap house for sale is usually cheap for a reason and the new home owners soon find out as their family members disappear one by one. Usually its the spoilt brat that dies first and the most unlikely ones to survive do.
Hopeless moments appear in horror films when a car breaks down this adds to the suspense of the film.
