Film Cliche - Crime

Violence and tough guys is a common occurance in crime films. Corrupted police officers and a good cop bad cop senarrio while someone is being interogated is also very commohn in crime films. a never spoken of code of honour is usually followed by everyone in crime film and this adds to the tension of the film.

Its very common for there to be an undercover cop/rat in the film this also adds tension to the audience as he could be caught out at any time. This rat will uaually be young and good looking.

A body being found in the boot of a car is not uncommon in crime films and neither is the fact that the men in gangs will never pay for anything they have.
